Job description

1.Minimum 8 years of IT experience with at least 5 years in an architecture related position.
2. In-depth skills in the one of the following infrastructure streams: Platform (O/S), Networking, Database, Middleware, Unified Communications, Storage & Backup, Mainframe, End User Computing, Systems Management or Security.
3.Plus experience of at least two others: ? Server infrastructure running Unix (IBM AIX / Sun Solaris), Linux. vmware and Windows ? Storage and backup – enterprise tier 1 / 2, SAN and NAS ? Application layer – WebSphere Portal / Process / Application Server, Tuxedo, ESB, SOA, WebSphere Data Power ? Messaging – WebSphere MQ and MQSI (Broker) ? Database – Oracle and Microsoft SQLserver ? Datawarehouse and Business Information ? Identity and Access Management – Active Directory / LDAP ? Data Networks – IP routing
4. Past operational and implementation experience Proven abilities to manage large scale solutions design and implementation work .
5. Demonstrable leadership skills.
6. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
7. Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation and negotiation.
8. Highly motivated and strong character Good business acumen, with an ability to understand and address business issues
9.Proven consultative skills Ability to communicate ranging

Required
Bachelor’s Degree
At least 5 years experience in Unix
At least 5 years experience in Infrastructure Architect
At least 3 years experience in WebSphere MQ
