How to Meet Men at the Gymthumbnail Meet men in yoga class.
Meeting men is easy, but meeting the right man for you takes thought and time. The best place to meet them is to go where your interests are. If you are into reading, then the library or bookstore would be where you would go. If you are into photography, join a photography club. For those who are into fitness and physical well being, the best place to meet like-minded people is a gym.

Excercise Class
Take an exercise class. Look around and see if there is any particular man that looks friendly and seemingly your type. Smile at him and stand next to him during the exercise breaks. If you meet him again, and he seemed interested the first time, then walk over to him and say hello. After the exercises, you can ask him if he would like to have a cold drink at the snack center, your treat.

Weight Lifting
Walk over to the weightlifting area. There are varied and various types of weights to lift. If you see someone lifting the weight bars, feel free to walk over and watch him. If he does not seem annoyed at your presence, then smile and commend him on how easily he lifts those "heavy weights." If he smiles at your compliment, remain until he is done. Tell him you would love to learn to lift weights, and if he offers to help you, then you know that he is interested.

Rock Climbing Gym
Locate gyms that offer a variety of fitness activities. Rock climbing gyms should be a great place to meet a man. Getting into the proper gear to rock climb can be difficult, so ask a man to help you put on the straps. If he seems outgoing and friendly, make further conversation and commend him on his ability to climb. Men like to be fussed over and given a pat on the back for their accomplishments. Ask if he returns often, and make sure you go again at the same day and time.

Look to see if there is a coffee or snack bar in the gym. If you see a man who looks nice to you, and he is sitting alone, buy your snack or coffee, and ask if you could join him. If he says he is just leaving, then understand that he is not interested. In this case, find a magazine or a newspaper and read it while you drink your coffee alone at the table. Maybe you will be lucky and a man will ask to join you.
