我觉得上海的城市管理水平比北京明显的高了.从两个城市的火车站广场及周边地区的秩序就可见,这里特[转帖]一篇李资政的感受 |

position of production managers for German engineers only. At first, local employees complained that Germans keep manager position for Germans. As time passes by, people start to respect the professionism and the great attention to details demonstrated by these German engineers.
One Siemens worker told me that without his German manager's strict control of quality, he has no confidence in their products at all. At first, he thought that the managers kept "picking bones from eggs". But he changed his mind as he saw the difference between his own firm and other firms.
Many chinese perceived Germans as "stubborn", "inflexible". But as you spend more time overseas, you will more and more respect their national character with respects to professionism in their work.
Of course, here, I am talking about "on average", not every German.
For all nations I visited during my job interviews, travelling, France and Germany are two worst nations: with most arrogant people. But these are also two nations I like most: the former is full of culture and the latter is well-organzied and disciplined.
If you have financial resources, go there and see for yourself.
My comments here will piss off many people: but one important reason that Shanghai is relatively better in public administration(compared with other cities in China, without HK) is their inheritance of international or old colonial era practices from Europeans. That's also what Larry Lang said in his TV program.
