Job Summary: Performs accounting and budgeting functions. Ensures accuracy and timeliness of both financial and managerial reporting related to inventory, manufacturing accounting, and product costs. Prepares salary and hourly payrolls. Works extensively with all aspects of JDE system. This position reports directly to the General Manager.
Essential Functions:
• Maintains understanding of banking transactions, bank reconciliations, insurance filings and bookings, various monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Generates final financial and management reporting statements.
• Processes invoices for payment after verification.
• Maintains supplier file in JD Edwards system for finance.
• Responsible for accurate balances in and reconciliation of inventory, cost variances, and other balance sheet accounts. Also responsible for accruals, adjusting entries, and review of various accounts related to or affecting inventory, variances, and product costing.
• Responsible for cost accounting.
• Manages and administers all payrolls’ functions and monitors for accuracy.
• Administers payroll deductions and disbursements to insure compliance with all regulatory agencies and company policies.
• Required to follow any other instructions and to perform any other duties as requested by supervisor.
Skills and Education Required:
• 3-5 years of accounting experience in a MNC environment
• Experience with JD Edwards, SAP or Oracle.
• Excellent writing and personal leadership skills.
