+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Manage the day to day merchandising and QC activities of one of product group divisions (outerwear, men’s wear, kid’s wear, lady’s wear and production division).
+ Responsible for his/her divisions (4-10 merchandisers and 4-10 QC’s).
+ Manage and supervise punctual order follow up, quality control, shipment and sourcing new manufacturers and materials.
+ Play role as a born leader and actively manage the team and the vendor portfolio.
+ Build professional relationships and gain the necessary commitment of vendors.
+ Know the big picture of the order situation off the top of DMM's head.
+ Handle problems and support divisional merchandisers solving these problems.
Requirements:
+ At least 10 years working experience and at least 5 years experience in merchandise manager in Zhejiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu area.
+ Experience in the field of production of woven and knitted garments and fabrics.
+ Preferably have working experience with European importers and retailers.
+ Knowledge of trends and fashion styles in the relevant garments of the European markets.
+ Strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
+ Fluent in English and Mandarin.
+ Strong personality and positive attitude.
+ Team player and able to motivate a team.
+ Ambition to achieve excellence in the supply chain.
