Fund Raising Director
Roles &Responsibilities
Fund raising director is in charge of assisting Fund to raise private equity or other capital, investor commitments through a private placement. He/she will act as an intermediary between company and various investors who may be interested in investing in company such as a variety of institutional investors as well as high net worth individuals, as well as lead in investments/deal sourcing/execution .
Typical duties include:
• Contact and discuss with the appropriate potential investors to seek financing possibilities;
• Design fund structures and fund raising
• Developing and maintaining good working relationships with governmental/institutional/individual investors in China;
• Investments/deal sourcing/execution
Organizational Structure
Fund raising director work in company’s sole fund commanding body in China: Magellan Capital Advisory Co. Ltd., working directly under CEO of Magellan who is also the Global Head of Fund Business.
Magellan is the subsidiary of overseeing all the fund related business activity, managing the Funds in China and business development concerned.
Qualifications
Age above 35
Fully qualified university graduate
At least 5 years experience in a financial services environment
Familiar with governmental/institutional/individual investors in China
Excellent communication skills, English language proficient would be a plus.
