Job description:
The individual in these roles develop, document, and implement worldwide support plans to ensure clients receive seamless hardware support for their purchased storage products. The Storage Global Service Planner works with world wide TSS service delivery teams to make sure they are prepared to support new storage products in time for General Availability. (GA) During product development they work closely with development engineering, manufacturing, procurement and program managers to ensure service and support requirements have been addressed.
They play a leading role in defining Service Delivery processes and ensuring consistency for IBM customers. Within the scope of Integrated Product Development (IPD), they represent TSS in product PDT and DCT meetings.
Global service planners share Brand proposals with the WW TSS support teams by communicating product info and roadmaps; obtaining TSS feedback, and negotiating requirements between TSS delivery & the Storage development teams.
Required:
Knowledge of IBM Hardware Service Delivery & Support Processes;
Strong Communication and Negotiation Skills;
Experience in Entry Midrange Disk and / or n series/NetApp products;
Basic knowledge in Operations;
English: Fluent;
Chinese traditional: Fluent.
Preferred:
Experience in Project Management and Negotiation;
At least 2 years experience in Experience in Hardware Support Delivery;
At least 2 years experience in Experience in Communication and Negotiation Skills;
At least 2 years experience in Experience in Project Management and Negotiation;
At least 2 years experience in Experience in entry disk products and n series/NetApp.

Reporting to the AP Service Planning Manager, this role is seeking enthusiastic individuals willing to work in a rewarding and exciting function as an AP Program Manager for IBM products. Successful individuals will play a critical role in the disciplines of Service Planning and program management activities. With frequent interaction with Global US teams and Asia Pacific countries, this role will give provide a major insight to the workings of MTS and excellent interaction of other countries environments.
