The Principle Systems Engineer will report directly to the Executive Chairman and CEO of the company. He/she will work with key members of the management team. Main responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
• Work with engineers in the US for the design and development of automated manufacture of ReLIA lateral flow test strips
• Lead site preparation of the facility in Shenzhen, China
• Oversee the installation of automated manufacturing equipment in Shenzhen
• Obtain the qualification and certification for the facility in Shenzhen
• Lead ongoing maintenance and enhancement of the automated manufacturing line
Qualification:
The Principal Systems Engineer will have a minimum of a BSEE or BSME degree, and at least 10 years of systems engineering experience including three to five years experience with automated manufacturing or process systems. Other key attributes sought include:
• Fluency in English and Mandarin (both written and oral)
• Willingness to work in China and travel to the US
• A broad based familiarity with software, electronics and mechanical mechanisms
• Ability to read schematics and to troubleshoot electronic systems
• Experiences with Windows software design and testing (actual coding experience not required)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
• Effective communication skills with management and coworkers
• Capability of making effective decisions within the area of responsibility
• Aggressive and entrepreneurial spirits with drive to succeed and prove himself/herself
• Outstanding strategic and management skills
• Commitment to the technology and the company
