Can any good old haigui guys/gals share your experience with me on the following? particularly Agent2000sf please!
I am currently working in US and about 5 months away from being eligible to file N-400 but due to Corporate downsizing I am now considering a job with a US company's China operation. If I take the job, I will have to leave for China right away probably in June/July. I have met all the physcial presence and continuous residence requirements.
1. Since I am not far away from filing N400, do I necessarily need to file N470? Seems to require a statement from the employer; I am not sure they are willing to ...
2. What if the job is a local hire instead of expat? would that cause any problem?
3. Regarding the 90-day living in District/State requirement, does it mean I have to physically live in the District/State before I file N400 or I just need to maintain a residence? Agent2000sf, what was your situation?
4. This US company is actually HQed in another state, do I need to move my US address over there or I can continue to apply from where I live now?
5. Agent2000sf, you mentioned you did your fingerprint in China, how exactly did you request that arrangement?
