Position: Investor Relations Manager
Location: Beijing, China
Role of the IR person in Beijing and his/her objectives would be the following:
- Represent the company to all investors who visit in China, with appropriate support from the rest of the IR team.
- Build an understanding of the institutional and retail investors' perception/requirements/expectations of the company with senior management in China.
- Develop and manage investor communications plans for a few senior company executives in China for their quarterly participation in various investor forums, including sell-side conferences, various sell-side and company sponsored roundtables, and one-on-one meetings with institutional investment firms and sell-side analysts.
- Handle portion of IR Departmental responsibilities, such as tracking of all sell-side models or summarizing sell-side reports on competitors and business partners which would be sent to appropriate senior executives and other line and financial management.
- Performing all tasks in a balanced and proactive manner that is consistent with investor regulations.
Candidates for this responsibility should be weighed on their relative strengths in:
- Breadth of knowledge of the company business and financial processes
- Experience in dealing with the investment community
- Understanding their thinking and motivations
- Effectiveness with the management team in Beijing but also functional and financial teams
- Communication and interpersonal skills; multi-lingual
- Ability to act independently and build inter-functional support team.
