Key Accountabilities:
• Align technology vision with business strategy by integrating company processes with the appropriate technologies
• Establish and direct strategic long term goals, policies and procedures for the IT Function. Determine Genpact’s long term system needs and hardware acquisitions to accomplish the organization’s business objectives.
• Responsible for all aspects of developing and implementing technology initiatives within the organization
• Set technical direction and manage the technical team to establish a comprehensive strategy for new application development and migration of existing applications.
• Help define core Genpact messages and positioning and ensure that it is communicated to technical audiences
• Maintain familiarity with current technological innovations to ensure that Genpact is developing solutions with best practices and current technology
• Negotiate favorable technology licenses from key technology suppliers
• Provide leadership for the corporate IT environment and mentor technologists to improve technical performance and technical management
Required Skills:
• Experienced, mature and solid professional with 10-15 years experience in technology leadership and management role in large organization
• Demonstrated technical leadership in technology development process
• Ability to manage and provide strategic direction for team
• Ability to maintain existing enterprise systems, while providing direction in all technology related issues in support of information operations.
• Ability to project business and development plans
• Strong financial acumen and strategic ability….commercially savvy.
• Strong, clear, effective written and oral communication …ability to interact at all levels in the organization incl. senior leaders.
