JOB title: Account Manager, Greater China

A leading global provider of integrated information-based solutions to business and professional customers.

LOCATION: BEIJING,CHINA


JOB SUMMARY:

The Account Manager is responsible for all aspects of client relationship management for an assigned set of accounts.
The Account Manager acts, as the primary business owner of an existing account relationship, and in some instances, may be responsible for acquisition of new accounts.
The Account Manager, including budgeting and forecasting, expansion of business within the account, contract management and negotiation, program growth initiatives, account profitability and overall organizational relationships, owns all aspects of the business relationship.
In a matrix organization, the Account Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing cross-functional resources in the provision of current and new client service commitments.
In this role, the Account Manager uses financial acumen, and expected financial performance of client initiatives to request, marshal and drive cross functional resources to achieve stated business outcomes.
The ability to understand the business objectives of the client organization, and link services and resources to achieving these business outcomes is critical to the success of this role.
In a multicultural, global operating environment, the ability to translate client needs into profitably delivered services is of utmost importance. The Account Manager also exercises discretion and independent judgment, and performs work directly related to assisting with the running or servicing of the business.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Exemplary oral and written communication skills, client relation skills, time management and analytical skills to produce information in a concise and timely manner.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, characterized by a desire to drive growth in an emerging market
• Energetic self-starter able to thrive in a dynamic, distributed functional environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability and desire to work with and present to diverse levels of a prospect’s personnel, including senior executives (especially CEO, CTO, CFO, VP of HR levels) in both formal and informal settings as well as with functional representatives within and outside of the company.
• Be willing to travel within a specified territory.
• Be thorough in accomplishing tasks; carefully monitoring the details and quality of own and others’ work.
• Possess the ability to rapidly identify and act on prospects’ and partners’ needs and issues.
• Customer service orientation – work to remove barriers to top-notch customer service, and respond to prospects with appropriate sense of urgency.
• Act consistently with high ethical standards and handle empowerment prudently.
• Experience in formulating and executing programs with clients and channel to increase revenue growth.
• Cooperate and work collaboratively with colleagues, business partners, and prospects to reach beneficial solutions.
• Fluency in English and Chinese both have written and spoken.
• Preferable has Hong Kong/Taiwan passport or PRC national has foreign passport to allow Hong Kong / Taiwan travel.

6+ years experience of Client service and key account management in multinational enterprises.
