• Good understanding & knowledge on inventory forecasting & stocking principles
• Knowledge in materials supply planning and management
• Knowledge of inventory planning and management
• Personal computing experience with Excel Spread Sheet and Access Database
• SQL computing experience preferred
• SAP experience and knowledge preferred
• Familiarity with Automotive products is an added advantage
• One or Two years experience in parts planning, follow-up and expediting in manufacturing environment

3. RESPONSIBILITIES: (Describe nature of responsibilities and types of decisions made. Clearly define responsibility limits.)
• To administer and operate the Mercia Lincs software decision support system to generate automotive spare-parts demand forecasts and planning through:
• The processing of data within Mercia Lincs (forecasting system) and the recording of the required parameter settings
• Generate and review exception reports to ensure the optimal use of Inventory Decision Support System to achieve business units’ and XXX AP goals of customer satisfaction and inventory levels
• Provide proactive analysis and review of demand history
• Set forecast revisions and schedule adjustments as required
• Be alert to abnormal trends and advise accordingly
• Coordination with the various XXX AP country units
• Coordinate with Materials Management to achieve and maintain the required inventory and service level targets
• To assist in reporting, analyzing inventory movement and tracking against designated target
• To perform regular “Parts Housekeeping” and data updates/maintenance to ensure accuracy of data
• Coordinate with suppliers purchase orders processing, follow-up where required on price and delivery
• Control, develop and maintain documentations, procedures, work instructions and job processes to ensure efficiency
