Description
This position is for the Process Engineering Department Manager for Fab, a start up Fab located inChina. Successful candidate will lead and manage DEI (Diffusion/EPI/Implant) Process Engineering organization through the startup, process transfer and hiring/training of a new organization that will initially operate both domestically and internationally to successfully startup a 300mm chip set factory. Ability to manage and coordinate complex logistics associated with a department located at multiple domestic sites during training and in China is required. Candidate will be a key member of the factory staff and help to drive overall organizational vision and strategy in alignment with mission. Candidate will have a known history of successful technical contributions as well as technical leadership and management skills. Experience with fab start-ups and process transfers are required. This position will require an extensive travel within the US and a training assignment in Fab 12 in AZ, followed by a 2-3 year overseas assignment at Fab.
Qualifications
1) Process Engineering experience of 10+ years and experience in managing DEI Process Engineering organization.
2) High level of technical contributions and a proven history of technical problem solving through the creation of solutions that demonstrate innovative thinking.
3) Experience in HVM start-ups and process transfers.
