Job Description • Be responsible for the generation and application of bioanalytical tools for preclinical and clinical studies to support R&D programs.
• Perform Validation of analytical methods according appropriate quality standard and BM analysis for multiple preclinical and clinical studies.
• Interpret and report the biomarkers analysis data to support clinical studies.
• Explore and develop core capabilities in Biomarker analysis with classical and cutting edge technology (such as ELISA, Luminex, multiplexed assays, biochip, etc).
• Collaborate with BMD core team and external partners to explore the identification and confirmation of Biomarkers in related disease areas.
• Contribute and manage the internal and external collaborations to support Novartis development programs.

Minimum requirements • Ph.D in immunology, molecular biology, or biochemistry plus 3-5 years of solid laboratory leadership experience.
• Have experience to design and invent immunoassays(ELISA, etc.) and other bioanalytical methods(LC/MS).
• Have proven capability for taking multiple tasks and planning the projects progress.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential.
• Additional experience in clinical diagnostics, cancer and infectious disease as a plus.

Job Description
This person will be responsible for the development and application of bioanalytical methods for the analysis of biomarker in clinical and preclinical studies, with focus on clinical PoC(Proof of Concept). The scientist will apply classical and cutting edge technology to meet project demands. Validated multiplexed assays for high quality data on Mesoscale and Luminex will be one focus. This person will also contribute to assay transfer and application in biomarker analysis.

Minimum requirements -
PhD or Ms. in biology plus 3-5 years of laboratory experience with immunoassays in an industry setting.
- Past experience in multiplexed platform or immunoassay validation is an asset.
- Additional experience in clinical diagnostics will be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and writing skills in English and the ability to contribute to a positive team environment will be essential.
