Job description
THIS POSITION IS RESTRICTED FOR USE WITHIN INTEGRATED MANAGED BUSINESS PROCESS DELIVERY (BPD) ORGANIZATIONS
The F&A Delivery Leader utilizes strong professional knowledge, analytical capabilities, and process management experience to assist operations managers, solution architects, and transition teams in delivery of various business requirements.. based on detailed knowledge, they independently study, analyze and offer solutions to F&A questions/problems; and/or perform project plan delivery as an individual contributor or team member. The F&A Delivery Leader is accountable for implementing and often for developing specific F&A programs, as in their specialty or working with an F&A specialist. They coach junior members of the team. They assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Environment
? Has broad knowledge, experience leading teams, exposure to transition approaches, and understands specific processes in a depth necessary to support solutioning efforts.
? Possesses deep knowledge of department, business unit and overall business strategy to operate as an F&A knowledge expert
? Drives process activities with other departments and/or client organisations to ensure delivery of a coherent and comprehensive service
? Is experienced in dealing with Senior Management (internally and client)
? Has experience in developing new/changed processes and procedures and their implementation for a variety of accounting problems
? Is experienced in working in a service driven, customer focused environment
? Works independently with minimal management guidance
? Is very familiar with ERP systems and tools and related control requirements
Communication/Negotiation
? Acts as an independent professional
? Works with and may advise other accounting professionals (more junior and senior ones) to resolve day-to-day accounting issues
? Develops alternative approaches to accounting issues in the client and business environment
? Negotiates with banks, auditors, state and local taxing authorities to create understanding of Accounting issues and find solutions which fit the goals of the client and of the Service Center.
? Ensures clear and concise communication within the team and creates good team spirit
? Possesses absolute fluency in language of country/countries supported
Problem Solving
? Utilizes analytical skills and business knowledge in evaluating business problems related to his/her area of management or specialization.
? Solves indenpendently delivery problems related to those areas
? Recognizes program elements that need improvement and makes recommendations to enhance and improve or develop complementary adjustments/solutions
? Continually and proactively strives to simplify, standardise and improve processes locally and internationally
? Is recognized and asked as a specialist/generalist in his/her specific Accounting area
Contribution/Leadership
? Participates on large, cross-functional teams representing areas of own knowledge and expertise
? Individually, or through leadership of a small team, works on defined projects.
? May draw on other internal or external resources (i.e., consultants) to expand knowledge of subject for project or team
? Understands the mission and vision for local accounting organization and applies this understanding to project and belonged department activities
? Provides advice to other professionals, management or clients in areas of local accounitng organization
? Provides clear and concise management reports and memorandums
Impact on Business/Scope
? Is accountable for assigned projects for applying process delivery knowledge to client and business situations
? Participates in planning priorities for delivery teamby identifying emerging client, business and department issues/trends encountered in daily activities, participates in developing appropriate response actions.
? Is responsible for value-added advice and customer service
Required
Bachelor's Degree
English: Intermediate
Japanese: Fluent
Additional information
JLPT Level 1 or equivalent Japanese skills
Good English
5 years above BPO & MNC working expeirence
Strong team & people management
Goom communication & problem solving
Strong client facing
BPO Operation & Transition experience
