Title:Solution Architect/ConsultantLocation:BJ
Responsibilities:
- Overall management of solution architecture for energy & utility
- Development of proposals to meet customer requirements on key solution areas.
- Development of technical components for Statements of Work (SOW’s) including identification of technical risks.
- Development of costs, project design & implementation schedules including appropriate resource level for each proposed implementation phase.
- Opportunity engagement with sales personnel and optional involvement with customer engagement of the solution.
- Ensuring the Team Solution Design processes and methods like Unified Methods are followed.
- Validating technical opportunity requirements
- Gets the Work Products of Pre-concept and Concept phases of Asset Intensive Solution created
- Identifies the critical Technologies, Software Products, and Hardware components for the Solution and the Assets
- Identifies any existing assets in local and WW Labs, Service Organization to be used in the Solution/Assets and performs an high level fit-gap analysis with the Business Context
- Creates the Concept Solution Blueprint/Outline with the Solution Manager, and defines the Solution Value Proposition
- Defines high level Business Solution Requirements (functional and nonfunctional) and identifies the Solution / Asset scope for the engagement
- Evaluates the existing Assets reuse for the Solution & and also come up with reuse strategy for the Assets associated with the Solution currently being worked upon.
- Prioritizes / Decides the logical sequence of development Assets associated with Solution(s).
- Identifies areas needed for Proof of Concept/Technology in any potential technology risk areas for the Asset Development, does feasibility study for technologies to be used in Asset Development.
Skills required:
- Experienced IT infrastructure,power Industry domain knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both Chinese and English (written and spoken)
- Strong customer facing skills and passion of working with clients
- Experiences in consulting and solution design using HP products
- Team leadership, good team pla<x>yer as well
- Strong knowledge on Server, storage, BCP, DRP etc.
- Self motivator and quick learner
Qualifications
- Degree: Master degree or above, major in CS or equivalent
- At least 8 years experience in IT consulting, solutions design and IT implementation.
- At least 3 years experience of customer projects engagement.
- Prior services experiences or oversea working experience is a strong plus
- English: Fluent
