Client:
A Dutch firm specialized in textile, apparel, and accessories for the European market.
Salary:
Up to RMB 9,000 / Month (depending on experience)
Starting date:
As soon as possible
Location:
Ningbo, Zhejiang, China
Travelling:
Yes
Recruitment process:
+ Telephone interviews
+ Face-to-face interviews
Responsibilities:
+ Support Divisional Merchandise Manager leading the merchandise team of around 6-8 merchandisers
+ Dealing with factories and head office
+ Arranging sample collections with own sample factory and third party factories
+ Making cost break downs for styles (consumption, fabric and accessory cost know ledge required)
+ Supervising merchandisers and supporting them solving production problems
Requirements:
+ University level, preferably degree holder in textiles and clothing or related disciplines
+ At least 6 years experience as a jacket merchandiser for a trading company
+ Detailed work approach
+ Strong negotiation skills with factories
+ Good communication skills in English with head office
+ Experience with Outerwear (Jackets)
+ Working experience with European importers and retailers is preferred
+ Fluent in Mandarin
+ Fluent in English
+ Flexible and stress resistant
+ Positive attitude
