Background Information
Thermal management is one of the key applications of Electronic MBU. The target external markets include computer, consumer electronic products, telecommunication, automotive, general lighting, etc. The strategic posture of the Thermal Management major market is “Invest”. G. China is a very important market for this major market. With the business needs, we are looking for the personnel with thermal management application expertise.
Job Responsibilities
This person will support the growth of the Electronics MBU through Application Engineering activities including application development, new product commercialization, growth opportunity converting at target customers, etc. The focus will be on gaining new business through external market and customer application expertise as well as DCC product technology expertise. Through product performance and application process validation, AE is expected to deliver differentiated solutions that meet customers’ needs, not only for China but also for global.
Responsibilities include: evaluating material in real-life applications, developing information to make us more competitive in the marketplace, making it easy for customers to adopt our technology, guiding new product development through industry knowledge, hands-on laboratory work, and documenting work and training others. This person will work with external customers to uncover needs, and then will translate those needs for product development, process engineering, marketing, and manufacturing. Specific area of focus will be on thermal materials in electronics applications.
Desired Qualifications
Degree: Bachelor or Mater
Major (a) Mechanical Engineering (b) Material Science (c) Chemical Engineering
Languages: Chinese, English (excellent both in oral and written)
Working experience: >3 years with 3 years in thermal management in electronic industry
The ideal candidate has rich experience working with Thermal Interface Materials in Electronics applications; clear understanding of heat transfer and thermal control mechanisms. - Has experience with thermal system design or service- Knowledge of electronics cooling schemes, thermal testing and test vehicles - Knowledge of Electronics Industry and Manufacturing a plus
Is hands-on and has an analytical mind; ability to troubleshoot and solve problems - Has experience and is willing to do lab work independently
Has excellent organizational skills; showing initiative, ability to work efficiently and passion to document their work - Is able to manage several projects at the same time - Has good communication skills – Be able to work in a global environment – Be able to lead global projects - Is creative, a team player
Has basic skills in MS Office applications.
