European chemical group company is looking for:
Process Engineer - Professional
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This position exists to maintain smooth and efficient performance of the chemical processes affecting Fluorochemicals manufacturing in Changshu.
• The incumbent is responsible for improving existing process efficiency, optimizing manufacturing processes and defining new small or mid size capital projects by working closely with Business, Manufacturing, and Engineering Process people that would maintain or improve ’s leading position in the Fluorochemicals business worldwide.
• Specify and develop process technology in support of new plant design and existing plant improvement in order to maintain and improve Fluorochemicals productivity.
• Collect, evaluate, and benchmark competitors (and sister plant)’ process/technology in fluorochemical manufacturing activities in China.
• Work in a team environment in capital project preparation, technology evaluation.
• This position reports to Process & Technology Director Asia.
• Communicate with process and production people in the sister plants (France and US) in order to benefit worldwide experience and optimize resources
REQUIREMENTS:
• Master degree with chemical/chemistry/chemical engineering education background
• 5 years above work experience in multinational company, and manufacturing background is preferable
• Have conducted studies and process analysis on plant unit operations
• Have prepared PFDs, P&I Ds, material balances, etc.
• Have applied safety regulations and environmental know-how
• Experience in process modeling software would be advantageous
• Proven ability to make correct and timely decisions, and working both independently and in teams
• High interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge on Fluorochemicals production and process a plus
• Good commercial sense and English
