In with the old and in with the new is the motto from the spring 2013 bridal runway. While different styles are emerging we are seeing other styles repeat from previous years. Emerging top 10 styles that were noted amongst the favorite couture bridal designers included:
High Necklines: Necklines are rising. Vintage Hollywood Glam: Column gowns in flowing fabrics from charmeuse to crepe were the stars of the runway.

Illusion Necklines: The illusion neckline, most often created with netting or lace was a common siting this season.

As with past collections, we’re still seeing a lot of the following on the 2013 bridal runways:
TULLE: Princess wedding gowns can best made out of tulle material, and also you must have seen the column deep V-neck sexy dress, fresh and new, do you prefer to take this one?

TEXTURE - Play with fabric to create texture is still popular. We’re also seeing another trend on the bridal runways – color. This collection brings us the color of love – RED.

ONE SHOULDER: Elegant one shoulder formal gowns bring lady’s shoulder bare, which makes a little sexy, and this idea also used in making wedding gowns, yes, bride also wants sexy element for her big day dress.

LONG SLEEVES: Aka – “The Kate Middleton Effect”, traditional taste and also warm.

PEPLUM: Have you noticed that not only wedding dresses but also formal gowns designed in peplum style, they look like unique and special, don’t they?

SHORT: While, some brides are choosing to wear short, fun second wedding dress, many brides have been simply fetching the traditional floor-length gowns in favor of shorter, flirtier pieces. This season the most designers included in their collections some sassy short dresses that would be perfect for partying all night long.

LACE OVERLAYS: Thanks to Kate Middleton and her stunning Alexander McQueen wedding gown, lace made a huge comeback in 2011 — and the Fall 2013 collections prove that the lace trend isn’t slowing down any time soon. This season, designers featured lace as a layer on top of other fabrics, lending volume and dimension to the gowns.
