Position: Manufacturing / Process Engineer
Incumbent: Magnetic Process Engineering
Location: Dongguan, China
Reports to(title) Engineering Manager

Summary Of Position:
· Monitor process performance indices and establish good controls to maintain process performance.
· Oversee and ensure that all critical nodes for quality indices are met.
· Troubleshoot out-of-control situations and decide on the lot disposition in an out-of-spec situation.
· Improve processes using quality improvement tools and other statistical tools.
· Improve productivity by introducing automated processes and designing fixtures/jigs.
· Work on labor time and scrap reduction projects by developing new processes, optimizing processes and introducing new materials.
· Work with departments to improve yield and quality.
· Ensure productivity improvement through process changes, document, as well as implement process capability and work with Maintenance/equipment Engineers to maximize productivity of the equipment.
· Transfer/Start up new processes that involves process characterization and development.
· Manage and coordinate technicians to play daily production supporting roles effectively and also helping engineers in evaluations.
· Develop and maintain engineering documentations.
· Posses 6 sigma knowledge and experiences running DOE.

Experience And Training Required To Perform Job:
This position requires the following:
· Degree holder in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical/ Chemical Engineering
· 2 - 3 years' working experience in magnetic assembly processes.
· Possess engineering experiences in manufacturing.
· Good analytical skills and work well under pressure
· Able to have external communication with written English is preferable.
