Position Title: Communications Manager
Reports to: Chief Representative, Beijing Office
Location: Beijing
Mission
Externally, work closely with the Chief Representative, Beijing office to manage the public relations activities. Maintain positive relations with the public, the press and electronic media. Develop and oversee the delivery of all publications, press and media communications, special promotions, and general information on related activities and events；
Internally, coordinates the internal communications, marketing, and public affairs functions of the group. Integrate the group’s communications, marketing, and public relations programs and initiatives into a cohesive effort that conveys a consistent message in support of the Group’s mission, strategic goals, and objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of press, media； write, produce and distribute press kits, feature stories, public service announcements (psas), and other items for all sponsored events
Conduct media relations efforts； establish and maintain contacts with key media personnel； develop and implement press conferences, photo sessions, and press/media events
Assist in the development, production and delivery of publications, including brochures, newsletters, flyers, direct mail promotions, calendars, and other marketing support materials； write, design, and produce materials as required
Assist in the development and implementation of special events and promotional activities
Establish and maintain good relationships to relevant governmental organizations
Work in collaboration with other China operations to plan, develop, and implement internal and communications projects and initiatives
Co-ordinate internally in relations to communications and public relations programs, projects, and issues
Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Candidate Specification
Chinese nationality, female
Bachelor's degree； at least 5 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified
Work experience in an international industrial environment preferable
Knowledge of paper industry will be a plus
Working experience as a Journalist will be a plus
Chinese writing skills
Work experience as chief editor will be plus
Knowledge of public relations, communication principles, media, direct mail, and marketing techniques
Knowledge of publishing procedures and requirements, including desktop publishing
Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate media activities and promotional events
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
Ability to create, compose, and edit written materials
