One of my friends works for a UK company that provides management service of materials supply and logistics to companies such as Rolls Royce, BAE etc.The company wants to build a manufacturing site and starts the business in China ASAP.
My friend is seeking some professional advice on the following areas:
1 - Contractual rights for employment in the Chinese community (e.g. contract law, rights, social costs etc) . How do we source employees.
2 - Accounting standards adhered to in China (e.g. IFRS or IAS)
3 - Corporate Governance in China
4 - How is a company Credit Rated, which companies provide this service and what basis is credit rating measured.
5 - Rates of tax in China, when do taxes need to be paid, who to, social costs
6 - Are companies required to take annual audits, when during the financial period would they take place.
