职位描述及要求
Summary:
The Production Director is responsible for managing all aspects of the production process in accordance with the guidelines, standards and values established within the company group. The plan is to develop the company and the manufacturing into the OEM business and the Production Director will be responsible for this transformation. In the development of Dalian Stellar Marine it will be necessary to transfer technology from the companies in the group based in UK, Germany and Sweden. In this process the Production Director have to visit Europe regulary and to cooperate with colleagues based in Europe.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To direct and coordinate the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality and quantity specifications.
Responsible for ensuring that all production targets are developed, communicated, monitored and met.
To review production and maintenance schedules, determine work force requirements and monitor production at shop floor level.
To troubleshoot production problems and take preventive or corrective actions to increase production volume and improve efficiency.
To direct Production Quality & Engineering to improve quality, reduce cost and standardize production processes.
Responsible for the production cost budget.
Qualifications/ Education and Experience Requirements:
This position requires the equivalent of an engineering or technical degree plus a minimum of 10 years relevant experience, 5 years or above of that in a managerial position preferably in an international company.
The preferred candidate to this position should have experience of:
· Management of manufacturing with a successful track record.
· Managing organizations > 50 persons.
· Improvement of production processes.
· QA procedures and ISO 9001:2000
· Previous role as production manager, production director or site manager.

· Excellent communication skills with all levels of the company.
· Fluent in Mandarin and English– both verbal and written
