PRIMARY FUNCTION
•Drive for profitable growth in Process Chemicals. Accountable for the top line (volume – market share; price – product value) of the P&L statement.
•Develop account strategies that grow our share – construct effective offer with appropriate level of technical service/price.
•Execute the business strategy as developed by General Manager.
•Monitor competitive activity and understand our market position versus the competition.
•Manage the commercial and co-manage technical service resources
•Manage the sub regional product line to meet the strategic plan.
•Manage the sales budget to be sufficient to meet growth needs but cost effective to meet profit targets
Minimum Knowledge, Education, and Experience Requirements
1.Education – B.S. minimum, MBA preferred or significant formal commercial training
2.Experience –
a.Significant commercial experience – 10 years in sales, technical service, or marketing
b.Previous management experience
c.Previous experience and / or familiarity of Ion Exchange Resin
3.Knowledge/skills – Basic financial skills
a.Impact of working capital on income statement and role of receivables and inventory
b.Budget management
c.Negotiation/value pricing
