JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB TITLE: China Service Delivery Manager
OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
The China Services Delivery Manager has complete authority and responsibility to deliver all Services (capital markets research used to support Client’s analysts in Japan, Hong Kong and potentially other Asia Pacific locations) from the Supplier to Client. In addition this individual will have primary business operating performance responsibility for the account and will ensure that all delivery commitments and deliverables required under the Agreement are provided to Client.
Responsibilities/Authorities
Responsibilities include:
1. Assuring the successful transition of the Agreement to operational status.
2. Ensuring that the Supplier fulfils all of its obligations under the Agreement.
3. Working with the Client governance team to establish, manage, and meet commitments, requirements, and expectations.
4. Working with Client Contract Executive and the Contract And Business Managers to align the delivery of Services with the strategic needs of both Client and the functional groups. Such activities will be performed with the approval and in conjunction with the Client Contract & Business Manager.
5. Informing Client about new corporate capabilities and developments within the Supplier’s organization, and proposing ideas and solutions that will provide ongoing benefit to both Client and the functional groups.
6. Working with the Client Contract & Business Manager to manage and meet commitments, requirements and expectations.
7. Ensuring that all Service Levels are met.
8. Ensuring that the Supplier’s performance requirements as they relate to Client business requirements and business objectives are satisfied.
9. Ensuring operational compliance with the Agreement and ensuring that the Supplier fulfils its obligations under the Agreement, including all obligations relating to deliverables.
10. Establishing and executing the account management disciplines, business management processes, and associated reporting.
11. Ensuring prompt identification and resolution of Service delivery issues.
12. Ensuring that the Supplier’s performance requirements as they relate to the Client strategic business planning (business and architecture, strategic options, business assessment, business operating plans) requirements are met.
13. Staffing and leading the Supplier Management Team and Resources.
14. Establishing the account infrastructure necessary to operate the account including all financial, human resources, security, facilities and communication.
15. Developing and implementing the Service delivery plan.
16. Installing all Service delivery processes and ensuring that the Service Level reporting mechanisms are established and operational.
17. Providing the monthly invoice and all account billing and reporting functions.
18. Implementing and managing Supplier financial system including time recording, labour reporting, billing, budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning.
19. Providing all Supplier contract administration for the time-phased contractual commitments to ensure fulfilment of Supplier deliverables.
20. Acting as the primary Supplier focus for new service establishment for Client.
21. Managing other administrative functions including security (physical and logical), facilities and contracts.
22. Providing all financial reporting, including exception reporting to Client
23. Establishing all personnel administration policies for the account.
24. Providing the Human Resources management function for the account.
25. Providing the recruitment and placement function for the account.
26. Providing the communication forms for the account.
27. Interfacing with the Client Contract & Business Manager on personnel issues.
28. Managing overall resource levels in accordance with Client resource requirements.
