Job Title: Senior Software Engineer - Beijing/Shanghai

The world-class engineering team in Google China is looking for experienced
software engineers with superb design and implementation skills and considerable depth and breadth in the areas of high-performance distributed systems, operating systems, data mining, information retrieval, machine learning, and/or related areas. If you have a proven track record in cutting-edge research and/or large-scale systems development in these areas, we have plenty of challenging projects for you.
Responsibilities:
Requirements:
1. BS/MS/Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field.
2. 5+ years experience in designing/developing large-scale software systems.
3. Proficient in at least one object oriented language (C++, Java, Python).
4. Significant development experience in a Unix/Linux environment.
5. Fluency in English (reading and writing). Chinese language skills preferred but not necessary.
