Cost Engineering Analyst-048
The Sr. Cost Engineer/Analyst (CEA) will work under the direction of the F68 Project Controls Manager to implement and monitor policies and procedures that adequately reflect and control the financial condition of the project. Involvement will flow from early capital funding due diligence to final project closeout and capital settlement. The Sr. CEA will own overall cost management responsibility for assigned scope, including budgeting, commitments, payments, forecasting (budget, spending and depreciation), and will be expected to prepare (or supervise preparation of) various internal and/or external financial reports. Will validate A/E and/or CM approaches to cost engineering and cost control in terms of process, systems and personnel; and will endorse project cost systems of record. The Sr. CEA will work closely with other members of the project team (particularly project management and procurement) to drive cost-optimized capital investment decisions as well as cash saving strategies. Will work with the contracts group to understand and influence contracting strategies and their effects on cost management and change control.

• Influence: Plans ahead, prepares the groundwork to achieve objectives, anticipates controversies and knows how to defuse, and skillfully navigates around obstacles.
• Systems Aptitude: Recognizes opportunities to apply existing tools to solve business problems and is often considered a “super user”.
Qualifications and Experience
• Education: Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, Construction Management or Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum Experience: 5+ years of large-scale, multi-discipline project estimating experience within engineering and/or construction organizations. Micro-electronic / wafer fab experience preferable.
