Required Skills
1. Expert or leading-edge knowledge in data server product architecture and design, development, and integration. DB2LUW is a strong plus.
2. High degree of analytical ability and creativity in understanding and interpreting program objectives and market requirements.
3. Strong in software development process & methodology.
4. Advanced programming skill on Windows, Linux and Unix platforms in the following areas
C++/SQL/xml
design/coding/debugging
5. Advanced negotiation and communication skills are required to interact with and influence peers, executive management, other functions, vendors and subcontractors to reach common agreements.

Job responsibility
- Work closely and collaborate with product manager, release manager, QA leaders and development teams etc. for software product development aligning with IBM processes
- Analyzes business requirements and develops proposals that lead to implementing solutions with new ideas and concepts.
- Make decisions that contribute to and drive product strategies, plans, schedules, customer satisfaction and financial results of the Federation Server.
- Ensures product architecture and design meets worldwide customers requirements and issues. Anticipates potential problems and future industry technological trends.
- Provide technical advice and counsel to executive management and other technical staff in the organizaiton/division.
- Promote the customer engagement activities to grow both worldwide and local market for the products with ownership
- Facilitate and provide guidance on the development infrastructure implementation and improvement
- Continuously improve the business process for productivity and quality improvement
