I am glad you noticed this small piece of information. I hope more and more people pay attention to HIV/AIDS in China. I watched a PBS program called China From The Inside a couple of weeks ago. It touched China’’s HIV/AIDS situation, and specifically mentioned Henan province and her people. IT WAS SAD! (li
Many folks here are willing to help our motherland, at some time, in some way, big or small, more or less. I am just a messenger. I pass information. But believe me I tried hard before. My team was among the first teams to respond to China’’s SARS outbreak in 2003. We promptly delievered the working proposal to China and offered our help. Our members have extrodinary experience on infection control, haz waste control and emergency planning. Some of them are among the first called up by US government to clean up Anthrax in New York, DC after 9/11. Some were members of US emergency response planning committee. We were not called up by anyone. We just volunteered. Later on we covered our own expenses to give free seminars in China. How’’s the result? Well, Long story. We know clearly there are things worse than SARS. HIV, bird flu are hanging around, and will be there for quite a long time. Many works need to be done, public awareness, public education, emergency response, contingency planning, law enforcement, you name it.
Anyway, glad you brought it up. And thank you for your attention.

I won'’t expect any health tips from folks in the NIH. Technically speaking, they are scientists/researchers, they are not healthcare professionals, even some of them have MD degrees. WebMD (www.webmd.com) and MedicineNet([url]http://www.medicinenet.com/sc
