Lots of American kids attend Home School.
I know first hand, academic wise, American primary school is in no match of Chinese primary school.
With thus being said, sometimes I wonder why there are so many top notch people, who are capable of everything without a college degree in America. So, American education must have done something right.
Letting kids living in a vaccum environment by attending International school may not be good for them, cause when they grow up, they may not be able to fit in well with either one: Chinese or American.
They look up to one culture and feel as an outsider cause they are Chinese attending foreign school, and look down upon one culture and feel like an outsider cause they are American living in China.
That is a worry of mine.
