Manager Purchasing (Strategy & Central Planning)-029

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Processes & Methodologies:
• Setup of robust/harmonized process model for Purchasing & QMT
• Development/Maintenance of Guidelines / Work instructions
• Development/Implementation of commonly used tools and methodologies

Central Planning & Material Costing
• Derivation of target system for Purchasing & QMT plus monitoring/reporting
• Planning/ Monitoring/ Reporting of Invest / Budget
• Elaboration of material costing framework (period / project based)
• Material cost controlling on component level
• Monitoring / Reporting of Cost-Down initiative (yearly basis)

Production Planning / IT and Contract Management
• Interface logistics / PP for production planning / tracking / investigation of changes of production plan
• Development / Maintenance of specific IT solutions (LPKM, SUMIS, etc.)
• Support in Migration to full-scale-production (Project Management, Building Solution, etc.)
• Develop / Maintain BBA T&C plus Warranty Agreement

Leading and supporting employees to achieve the objectives of the department.
Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field / Economics.
Specialization: Controlling, Program Management, Supply Chain Management
Management of IT Projects
Expert in MS Office Package
Good command of written and spoken English.
Minimum 6 years experience in procurement, controlling, IT or management consulting or thereof a minimum of 3 years in a leading function
Automotive industry preferred
Leadership quality and ability to motivate people.
Mature, responsible and result-oriented personality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of the supplier base in China.
German language skills.
